About SEYA

Welcome to the home of the Southeastern Young Alumni Charitable Foundation! SEYA’s mission is to foster the growth and development of young professionals while utilizing their talents and passions to raise money for adolescent oncology research. The Southeastern Young Alumni (SEYA) Charitable Foundation was founded in 2009 by a core group of young professionals in the Nashville community. Their goals were two-fold:

1) To provide a membership-based organization that provides networking opportunities and professional development for the growing number of young professionals building their lives and careers in the greater Nashville/Middle Tennessee area; and

2) To utilize the talents and passions of those members to give back to a charitable cause through fundraising events catered to the community.

These goals remain SEYA’s goals today as we continue to thrive as both a resource for young professionals, and as a charitable contributor to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, which has been the benefactor of SEYA’s efforts since our inception.

We invite all young professionals in the Nashville community to learn more about SEYA through membership or by attending one of our events throughout the year.
