What is the College Football Kickoff?
SEYA’s College Football Kickoff is the premier event in Nashville to celebrate the start of college football season while benefiting an important cause in the Nashville community at the same time. Whether you’re new to Nashville, grew up here, or have made Middle Tennessee your new home over the past several years – you learn quickly that college football season is a way of life! All proceeds from the event benefit pediatric oncology research at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vandy.

When and where is the College Football Kickoff?
The 2015 College Football Kickoff is happening Friday, August 28, presented in partnership with the original Tin Roof Nashville. We will shut down Demonbreun from 5 to 10 p.m., which gives us plenty of space to celebrate. See below for a map of the event!

How do I buy tickets, and what do I do with my ticket?
Tickets are $20 during the pre-sale period and can be purchased online at until noon on Friday, August 28. After that, tickets can be purchased for $25 at the door. We suggest buying early to avoid the day-of line at check in! We will scan pre-sale tickets at the event entrance, so please bring a printed copy of your ticket, or show us the digital version on your smartphone to be scanned in. All major credit cards and cash will be accepted to buy tickets at the door, and at all bars.

What do I get with my ticket?
Your ticket includes two drink tickets, and each ticketholder will also get two free tickets to a Preds preseason game. Your drink tickets can be used at our three outdoor bars, sponsored by Fireball, Firefly, Buffalo Trace, and Sweetwater. Drinks can also be purchased inside Tin Roof, but drink tickets can only be used outside.

How will I get my Preds tickets?
Following the Kickoff, the Preds will send an email to the email address provided with your ticket purchase. The email will contain a link to download vouchers that can be printed and presented at a Preds preseason game on September 20, 23, or 29.

What can I expect at the College Football Kickoff?
The College Football Kickoff gives local alumni associations and football fans a chance to celebrate the best time of the year together in the heart of Nashville. Attendees get decked out in their team’s gear, so feel free to bring out your Game Day best! Many fans can find a tent set up by their local alumni association who pass out swag to their fans, play cornhole and other games, and compete for the “Best Tailgate Atmosphere” award, which wins one lucky group free tickets to our other fundraising event, The Affair to Care Mardi Gras Ball, happening in February 2016. We have plenty of bars and bartenders this year to keep the drinks flowing, and food is available for purchase at Tin Roof and other surrounding bars, as well as from several food trucks who will be on-site just for our event. This is a Nashville party you won’t want to miss!

What time should I be there if I’m setting up an alumni association tent?
If you are representing an alumni association tent, please arrive no earlier than 4 p.m. You’ll want to check in at the front entrance, where you’ll get your spot assignment and be checked off for your two free tickets. Tents should be torn down by 9:45 p.m. to be out of the street by 10:30.

Where should I park or be dropped off?
The closest parking is available between Pedal Tavern and the Rhythm. If you are driving, please drink responsibly and designate a sober driver. We recommend a quick cab, Uber, or Lyft ride to the party – the best drop-off spots will be the Demonbreun roundabout, or at 14th and Demonbreun right outside of the barricades. The main entrance will be at 14th and Demonbreun.
